Toogoom is a beachside township situated about 20km from the city of Hervey Bay. It is a very popular spot for fishing and there
are always some excellent mudcrabs found in the creek.
As well as being a great place to take the
family for a swim, Toogoom is a wonderful area for many
active water sports like sailing and sailboarding.
There are some ideal spots to come for a picnic and whilst your in the town, visit the Toogoom Trading Post, an old-style general
store that sells everything from petrol to bait or Goody's Seaside Inn, with indoor and outdoor eating areas to savour the ocean
views.
